Number 3: Narcissists hate being held accountable for their actions.
They love to blame others for their problems. They love to shift the guilt instead of taking responsibility. So, when someone refuses to be manipulated into feeling guilty or accepting the blame being placed on them it angers the Narcissist because you are choosing to hold them accountable for their problems, or their bad actions.
So, this will make the Narcissist very angry. There will be a lot of resistance from Narcissists as they never take accountability because even when they claim to be repentant and apologetic to appease someone it is not genuine. The Narcissist has either found a way to justify what they did, or they are still in denial that is their fault.
They have not accepted responsibility, but they are happy for you to think that they have. However, forcing narcissists to take accountability for their problems will anger them immensely.
Number 4: Narcissists’ hate is being made fun of or laughed at.
Many Narcissists take themselves very seriously so are apt to become super defensive or aggressive when they are made fun of. Of course, they have no issues laughing at others and making inappropriate jokes but then they cannot handle it when someone does it to them. They have double standards with everything. And they hate it when people treat them how they treat others.
